About the Foundation

The Hansen Family Hospital Foundation was established in 2001 as an independent organization to raise money to support the hospital.  Funds raised by the Foundation may not be used for any purpose other than to benefit the Hospital and its mission.

Over the past years, the Foundation has received thousands of gifts amounting to more than $12.5 million in donations. With these proceeds the Foundation has provided Hansen Family Hospital with funding for capital equipment, renovation projects, and the construction of a new hospital facility.

Foundation Fund Management

The Finance and Investment Committee, a subcommittee of the Foundation Board of Directors, recommends how the Foundation funds are invested and disbursed.  Foundation funds are currently invested in certificates of deposit, mutual funds and interest bearing money market accounts.
