IOWA FALLS, IA – Trivalent Influenza vaccinations are now available at Hansen Family Hospital clinics: Ackley Medical Center, Iowa Falls Clinic, and NESCO Family Medical Clinic. The single-dose trivalent vaccine protects against the most highly anticipated strains of the influenza virus for the upcoming flu season. High dose vaccinations are also available for ages 65 and older. Children 6 months through 8 years of age not previously vaccinated should be vaccinated with two doses at least four weeks apart.

Appointments for flu vaccines at Hansen Family Hospital family practice clinics are encouraged.

Walk-ins will also be accommodated. Consult your insurance provider if you have questions about insurance coverage for vaccines. For those under the age of 18 participating in Iowa's Vaccines for Children Program, contact your provider for availability.
