Dr. Meyer was born and raised in Oelwein, IA. He attended Des Moines University where he received his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Meyer completed his surgical residency in Waterloo at MercyOne Medical Center.

He is board qualified in forefoot and rearfoot surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
